Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the industrial maintenance team, ensuring equipment availability, the quality of maintenance interventions, and compliance with safety standards. They will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and provide technical guidance to the maintenance team, assigning tasks and defining priorities;

Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and automation failures;

Monitor preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities;

Perform and support maintenance on extruders, peripheral equipment, gearboxes, heating and cooling systems;

Diagnose failures in PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and variable frequency drives;

Monitor maintenance of gravimetric feeders and raw material feeding systems;

Support spare parts and critical components control, as well as technical follow-up with suppliers and service providers;

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards during maintenance interventions.

Requirements

Technical degree in Electrotechnics, Electronics, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related fields;

Experience in industrial maintenance and team leadership;

Hands-on experience with twin-screw extruders or injection molding machines;

Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and industrial automation maintenance;

Experience with gravimetric feeders and automated raw material feeding systems;

Analytical and organized profile, with good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Engineering, Technology, or a related field;

Experience in thermoplastics processing industries;

Knowledge of thermoplastic compounding lines and gravimetric dosing systems.
