The HSE Specialist provides full time health and safety support to the operation and ensure that all practices are in compliance with state and national regulatory requirements. The HSE Specialist has to coordinate regulatory programs and any permitting requirements. The role supports the development and training of all safety programs and contribute to the implementation of effective HSE management by providing technical support.

The candidate will report hierarchically to QHSE Manager of Radici Plastics GmbH and functionally to the Global HSE Manager.

Responsabilities

  • Development of a positive safety culture and application of behaviour-based safety;
  • Carrying out risk assessments and developing measures to minimise risks;
  • Organising and carrying out training and instruction for employees and external companies;
  • Regular inspections of the workplace and checking compliance with legal regulations and internal standards;
  • Creating and maintaining the necessary documentation and reports;
  • Supporting the implementation of emergency and crisis management plans.

Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in the field of occupational safety and/or completed training as an occupational safety specialist in accordance with DGUV Regulation 2
  • Min. 3 years of professional experience in the field of occupational safety, preferably in a production company
  • Solid knowledge of occupational safety law and the relevant standards and regulations
  • Strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills
  • Independent, structured and solution-orientated way of working
  • Ability to work in a team and high social competence
  • Competent handling of common MS Office applications
  • Willingness to undergo continuous further training and development
  • German: Level C1/ business fluent
  • English: Level B2
