R&D Analyst

Role: R&D Analyst

The R&D Analyst plays a pivotal role in leading and ensuring continuous product innovation, development, and documentation control, thereby establishing Radici as one of the most innovative brands in the market. The position also involves obtaining approvals from key stakeholders in research and development and leading the process of project management.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain data in BOM adaptation and Material codes generation - Evaluate, correlate, and maintain data in SAP regarding BOM and Material codes generation
2. Provide stewardship and analytical support in the development of material technologies.
3. Actively participate in project discussions with R&D and support analytical activities.
4. Maintain detailed records of RM and FG and provide reports as and when needed.
5. Manage MSDS, TDS, and other compliance documentation.
6. Support Internal Audit, IATF Audit, and Customer Audits.
7. Manage Material Codes in SAP.
8. Create and maintain material codes in SAP.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 4–5 years in polymer compounding and polymer analytical characterization.
• Nature of Experience: Polymer Compounding and expertise in polymer analytical characterization.
• Educational Qualification :  Diploma Plastics/ Polymer Engg, B.Sc with CIPET / B-Tech / M.Sc / M.Tech – Polymer / Chemical

Role Specific Competencies:

• Good understanding of polymer compounding production processes, including mixing, extrusion, and palletization.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for plastics resins by applications and industries.
• Strong skills in scientific methods and use of design of experiments for data-driven research.
• Experience in analytical characterization techniques for rheological, mechanical, and thermal properties of polymers.
• Experience with quality control methods, part and product approval processes, and engagement with OEMs and customers (desirable).

Working Relationships

• Global Team Member (R&D): Discussion for NPD trials-related activities such as formulation, processing parameters, testing, and specifications. New material code creation, preparation, and extension – Daily and as required.
• Store / Production Planning Team: Provide reservation numbers of booked items. Discuss availability of RM and its location – As and when required.
• R&D Engineers and Pilot Operators: Batch preparation for NPD trials. Online/composite moulding of each NPD trial – Daily.
• QA/QC Supervisor / Shift In-Charge: Ensure availability of testing equipment to conduct online/composite testing for NPD trials – Daily.
• Safety Committee: Resolve hazards in the NPD area – Monthly.
